What does hybrid working model mean?
Remote or on-site work? We get the best of both worlds! A hybrid system.
We normally go to the office two days a week, see our team, have in-person meetings… and the other three days we work from the comfort of our own home.
The days at the office are coordinated with your team, and depending on the circumstances (meetings, coordination with other teams, etc.), there may be times when the days of office work vary.
For this reason, it is necessary that you live near Valencia and have the flexibility to go to the office regularly.
What are the working hours?
Our standard working hours are:
Monday to Thursday → 9 am – 6 pm
Friday → 9 am – 5 pm
You can dedicate 20 minutes of your working hours to take a break and recharge your batteries. You can help yourself to fresh seasonal fruit from the office kitchen, we which we top up every morning.
And of course, during the day we also have one hour for lunch. This is outside working hours, between 13h and 16h approximately.
Our Summer schedule is:
Monday to Friday → 8 am – 3 pm
However, some teams work with rotating shifts to give service to the customers of all markets later than 3 pm.
How can I make use of flexible working hours?
At Avantio we are flexible: hybrid model, family flexibility… and also when it comes to working hours.
You can start working between 8 am and 10 am, and leave earlier or later depending on your start time. If you need to take time off in the middle of the day, you can talk to your manager and make it up at another time of the day or week.
As with the on-site days, this may vary depending on meeting times or the needs of the team at specific times – we are looking for mutual flexibility!
How does carsharing work?
It’s very easy: we have a map with the cars that participate in carsharing, indicating which days and locations they depart from. If you want to participate with your car, we will locate you on the map so that the team know that you’re available to take a colleague.
If you don’t have a car and you want to use this means of transport, just open the map and see which one is available closest to you!
The advantages?
- If you are a driver, you get economic compensation at the end of the month. This varies depending on the number of people you take with you in your car.
- If you are a passenger, you have the possibility of travelling by car completely free of charge!
Is it guaranteed?
The carsharing system depends on the availability of cars and people to take to the office. It is possible that, depending on the area where you live, there may not be any cars available or there may not be people around you who need to use this service.
But don’t worry! There are also some EMT buses that run from the city centre to Avantio at different times.
The workplace atmosphere is great, with every department happy to lend a hand to their fellow colleagues. We also have fun team-building events, like team dinners and various activities, that really bring us all together.
The HR department is especially supportive. Right from when you get the job offer, they are attentive to how well you’re settling in and are always on hand if you need anything.
The training and induction program is thorough and really effective, making sure everyone is well-prepared to hit the ground running.
