Founded in San Francisco in 2008, in under 15 years Airbnb has grown to become one of the biggest global names in vacation rentals, with over 12 million listings across the world.

Avantio first connected with Airbnb in 2016 and was one of the very first European channel managers to do so, enabling our clients to list properties on the top channel. Our relationship has since gone from strength to strength, and we were first awarded Preferred Partner status in 2020, continuing this accolade into the current year.

 

Airbnb Preferred Partner Requirements

Many channel managers are connected to Airbnb across the world, but few have the technical standards to meet ‘Preferred Partner’ requirements. This is awarded to software partners that meet or exceed Airbnb’s performance and technical requirements. They must have fully integrated API connectivity and meet specific criteria to ensure the highest quality for clients connecting via the system.

To achieve this, Avantio has had to demonstrate that we are invested in collaborating on integration quality to deliver a consistently successful API connection. Airbnb has Preferred Partner software categories for both PMS and Channel Managers and Avantio has been approved for each.

Booking.com was founded in Amsterdam in 1996 and is now one of the longest established global online travel agencies, with properties in more than 220 countries and territories.

Avantio first connected with Booking.com in 2012, giving our clients the opportunity to market their properties to this enormous audience. We’ve maintained a close relationship over the last ten years, continuing to evolve our software for the optimum connection. We’ve achieved an incredibly high level of compatibility, meaning our clients can publish listings with detailed accuracy to maximize visibility.

Our relationship continues to thrive and we were awarded Premier Partner status by Booking in 2020, an accolade we have maintained for three consecutive years.
