Annecy Event Summary

Thank you for participating in our last event in Annecy

The splendid setting on the Lake of Annecy’s shores and the sumptuous Imperial Palace could only make this special Alps event a success on this beautiful day of June 27th. We were very happy to have been able to welcome so many companies for this meeting with vacation rental agencies and the main portals in the sector.

We were delighted to have so many business attend from the vacation rental sector, who actively participated and gave a real energy to the event. What was key for us was the idea of collaboration and learning from the leading vacation rental portals in addition to others experts, and Avantio.

Avantio offers conferences to discuss the main themes of the holiday rental industry throughout Europe. These events are fundamental to help short-term rental agencies to develop their business through networking sessions and presentations from our partners. This allows participants to communicate with each other and exchange know-how.

After the presentation of the day by the Avantio team, Shireen Coppens from the Muchosol portal took over to tell us about our partnership, followed by the enriching intervention of Nadra Bartoli from HomeAway / Abritel. Then a first break was made, including a workshop between participants.

Romuald Millot and Paul Castro, respectively our French director and our international sales manager, spoke about how Avantio’s 3 main products can increase the activity of a rental agency (Vacation rental management software VRMS, Channel Manager and the web design).

We had the pleasure to listen to the presentations of Alexis Dusillol from Airbnb, Nicolas Lorio and Camille Maciet from Holidu and Alexandre Seitz and Léonelle Le Guillou from Booking.com. Each speaker showed us how their portal tends to optimize the number of bookings. We would also like to thank Jean Berthier, Mountain Delegate for Atout France, for his intervention, adding an important institutional touch to this event.

A new workshop session took place to end the day, where everyone had the opportunity to talk and exchange with our partners about the sector’s innovation and evolution.

The entire Avantio team would like to thank all participants for their collaboration and the numerous positive feedbacks received during and after the event.
